You should correct yourself in the in the grammatical part of the novel. You have to write the novel in the past tense. TBH your novel plot sounds interesting but if you want more people to read your novel and enjoy it you should also take care of the small mistakes so that the novel can become for people to read. Don't take my advice as offensive cause many people so the same mistake and forget small details which doesn't help their novels audience to grow ALL THE BEST !!!
