I really want to see Mika go exploring Mt Moon again and come across an absolutely enormous Onix and freak out for a minute before realizing it’s mid iron level and that it has giant gene. Just don’t evolve it to steelix. Research and discover it has combination evolution three headed stone hydra, and later seven heads. But you have to retain the giant gene!

its obvious larvitar needs the ancient gene first then the giant gene followed by the royal gene in that order
