Bruh. He should spend two days to train himself preferably the two days of the weekend (since I forgot their names). One for aura and one for psychic otherwise, with the way he is dividing his time right now, he won't really progress much. He can still train his pokemon at the same time as he is training so I don't see why he wouldn't do it. After all, training alongside your pokemon increases their bond as well as both master and pokemon see that they are both working hard and not just hear the trainer telling them how to train while slacking off themselves.
