Let's be be honest the only reason it was as decisive as it was and the sole reason the 8th CSG survived is because the Japanese Armada didn't have any carriers. Otherwise they would have had a real fight on their hands. Shame on Itami for not having any carrier when she knows how effective they are.

most here dont understand navy battle. you want battleships to do AA and attack convoys along with cruisers. cruisers hunt Destroyers and subs, and destroyers patrole and attack battleships. carriers are very easy to take out, its just most battleships and cruisers dpnt have effective AA
