You could write a few chapters of summaries of what happens until kratos appears. Like this you can show the side characters and the most important events. Hades should marry persephone before kratos is born too right?

I think just enough build up that the kratos story has context with the rest of your story, cause Athena hasn't been introduced yet nor Ares. Thanks for your hard work, I can barely read most novels on this site w/o getting a headache from either the grammar, switching gender mid sentence or just straight up wish fulfillment forced dialogue.
