Rather than saying whether or not Sarvesh did the right thing, his actions were simply the byproduct of the unfortunate circumstances created by corrupt officials. Both the Priest and Mayor abused their positions of authority. The Priest, who was supposed to be a loyal servant of God was just a petty thief and the Mayor instead of enforcing rule of law and order instigated mob violence. There will be those who will criticize Sarvesh for his merciless retaliation, however the system was corrupt which made him unable to get justice. This is also the reason why the victims or their kin take matters into their own hands. Sarvesh did take it too far when he killed the innocent family members of the Mayor, but he was too full of bloodlust to see reason. Though it was Vijay or the result of his policies that cleared the names of Sarvesh's deceased family since with the execution of the Corrupt Priest, the truth behind the theft of the diamond ring was revealed. Sarvesh achieved his vengeance, but Vijay was the one who gave justice to his family. One thing I disliked is that the agitated crowd that killed Sarvesh's family went unpunished or seemed to go unpunished. The only thing I can clearly say is that Sarvesh's actions are understandable when seen through an objective perspective and that he will not easily be freed from the painful memories of the past since he has buried it within his heart. All in all, the last 2 chapters show how injustice, corruption and the dark side of human nature can be intertwined
