It's totally stupid to relinquish the hold of Royal Family. It's pure stupidity in.medival world where power of emperor is Supreme. Alteast he should have ensured that only the most capable of Royal Family and its extended families should ascend throne.
well I'm neutral about this decision but I think it's not complete stupidity cause this era is a transition between medivial to modern era. It's a need okay. As, the descendants can be corrupt. Also, if this decision is lately established then It would be difficult cause there would be lot of people to oppose.
Change it man,its too risky and idealistic there's nothing wrong with Vijay's children being emperor afterwards.Just relegate powers to the prime minister slowly, for your descendants just make a conglomerate covering various industries (afterall companies like Vanguard and BlackRock certainly have power to influence politics of countries)
If the common person already vote for the prime minister then it is pointless to vote for the emperor too. The biggest advantage of an emperor to counter the government is with its power of infinite time. The emperor family can always stay and compete for power with a the prime ministers. If there is a “evil” prime, and an incompetent emperor during that time the emperor will always have is son and and so on to count on later to stop the prime minister. I don’t know if I explained it well, but what I mean is the hereditary emperor is important to have long term power against the government, and that the rewards out way the risks.
I think you made the right decision after the formation of united India the people wouldn't try to revolt because they have actuall power and suggest after the formation of united India Vijay should sent explorers to Australia and colonise it because very few people live there and iam not saying that you slaved them but make a part of bharat
Too idealistic & bound to fail. It seems Vijay is also sick with the mentality of Indian leadership of being goody shoes & letting their so-called morality led to their fall as well as that of the Empire & the Civilization. A Constitutional Monarchy remains stable by having the Monarchy acting as a Symbol of Tradition & Stability whereas Parliament functions as a medium of Reforms & Agendas. Parliament doesn't works, it's the Ministeries that work. Parliamentary is to make Rules & Regulations regarding certain Agendas.
Development in Technology won't result in the development of mindset. India struggled to maintain a stable political govt for almost 3 decades with Govts falling due to lack of majority. This was all due to India's parliamentary system. A parliamentary system is only good when working in tandem with a Monarchy as the Monarchy insures stability or as a beacon of Unity. Vijay shouldn't have opted for Elected Emperorship or else he should've just shifted the Empire towards a US like Presidential system with Fixed term limits of:- (a) 2-terms for President, Vice-president, Governors & Lt. Governors with each term of 5-years. (b) 4-terms for Federal & State Senators with each term of 6-years (c) 8-terms for Federal & State representatives with each term of 3-years. This system will insure that No body remains in power for ever. Yes, theoretically an individual can become a Career politician but he/she will have to give power after 24-years of Service at maximum. Yes, if an individual serves 24-years as a State Rep & then gets elected as a State Senator. he/she can serve for another 24-years on the basis of getting elected after each term of 4-years. The same can continue when that individual gets selected as a Federal Rep, Federal Senator etc. but for that to happen, this individual needs to be super popular or cunning but a Nation needs such politicians.
it's not an empire anymore nor is it likely had he said only the most capable of his descendents may ascend then at least it would make sense but this is pure foolishness as it is beyond the chains of reality for this period of time. and thusly I shall stop reading this due to the aforementioned review.
