You should be really careful because this will play out just like the opium wars of china.The British wanted all the goods but they don't want to pay in gold or silver but rather their own British made goods,so they got the Chinese population addicted to opium so that they could earn money from china
While Europeans can be both enemies and allies depending on the circumstances, I wonder if within the Asian Continent, would China be the only rival to India. Because as of right now there isn't any large scale colonization in Asia and both India & China still are powerful nations before they were defeated by European Nations in the original world of Vijay
I hope that Vijay also formulates a Plan to colonize these Territories:- (1) Lakshadweep (2) Andaman & Nicobar Islands (3) Mauritius (4) Maldives (5) Socorta Archapilego I hope that Vijay opts to create a National River-linking project to connect different Rivers in the country with a combo of Dams, Canals & Lakes. Vijay should eventually connect a River linking system b/w Indus & Yamaua to make Ghaggar-Hakra a perennial river, allowing mass scale Agriculture in Rajasthan. The perennial Ghaggar-Hakra river system should be known as the long lost "Saraswati River" & Vijay being the one to revive it by his actions should be considered a Great-King like Bhagirath. We should see that in the 21st Century, this River interlinking & River highway system should allow India to have fare more advance Economy, internal trade, shipbuilding industry & a highly developed River travel system. Vijay's actions should affect the Ecology but as the Nature finds its balance, this project should insure Drought resistance & abundant agriculture in India even after Vijay's death.
