I can understand if he is getting close to the Stark's for political reasons,but i just hope this doesn't turn into another Stark w*nk.Getting sick of those,like,have your MC be born a Stark if you are gonna have him be do obsessed with them and what not.This looks like a good fic,and the chapter's are long and all,but it's okay to have a selfish MC in Westeros,where people care primarily for their houses and their region before the Realm as a whole.Even the Stark's of old were like that,and they survived and repelled Andal invasion's for thousand's of years,and the new "honorable" Stark's almost brought their house to extinction with their stupidity .Ned Stark was fool,Catelyn's action's weakened Robb immensely and cost him the respect of his bannermen,Sansa at one point choose the Lannister's instead of her own house and Robb Stark was an oath breaker.As much as i liked Robb,people often choose to forget that about them.
With how much he loves the Starks why didn't you have your protagonist be born as one? It's just every time the protagonist is born as a child between Robert and Cersei there always some goody two shoes craving for affection and trying to save everyone, why couldn't you actually have your protagonist be best of friends with Joffrey? That why he could direct Joffery's attention to the more corrupt people instead of 'Innocent' people. Appreciate your work though, but not for me.
