Man, this chapter took a long time to finish, and I almost didn't finish it on time. Due to the time difference, it is currently 2 am for my editors while it is 12 am for me. The chapter will be unedited until my editor wakes up. Sigh. I'll go to the next chapter which will be even more complicated because I have to think about the political topics of the meeting, ugh.

Hehe a little payback for the witch queens arrogance, though I don't really get this trial. Sure he killed some witches, but that's just because they meddled in something far above their pay grade. eheheheh... life just got hard for Evie... like the saying goes: live and learn... She stopped learning because people felt at easy witht the status quo but, as Victor "said", with a few words he just turned her world upside down... the question is: is she a parte of the "shadow" faction or does she just do business with them? I think Alice would do better at Victors side ( not as a wife) then with the witches. Thanks for the chapter
