He should have told her to do something to cover why she was in that dorm. Now people are going to wonder why and find out where she went, honestly you would think the mc would have wizened up by now but he keeps making stupid mistakes. This isn't even a matter of lack of experience, it's a lack of common sense. He needs to start seriously planning for the future, he has everything he needs to start anyway! For subordinates and a base power structure he has his father's guild, for money he has all his knowledge, if he wants to recruit strong individuals he should start acting more proactive with both his money and meta knowledge! Within a few years he could easily have a built a strong power and wide influence in secret! Even if he would have left traces due to lack of experience in those matters, he still has his dad! His dad most definitely has a fundamental understanding of the industry and would be able to make up for the mc's inexperience in the corporate and political worlds while the mc would make up for what his dad lacks with money, secrets for the future or present and talents!
