I’m not talking about the dead son, no I’m taking about the dead son’s girlfriend. I know there is hall conspiracy about her death but seriously why would the clan leader punish the most likely leader to reach rank 7 just for a insignificant rank 3 clan member. And how does a rank 6 elder live for so long in a cultivation world and not have killed, this guy was terrified knowing MC killed a few mortals, is that the most evil thing he has seen in like the 3000 years his been alive. it outright laughable, and supposedly he could outright kill his children if their trash but can kill a random clansman. There is so much loopholes, I’m not trying to talk trash I’m just giving a conservative criticism to this novel because I love it and I see things that could later trouble the author like a rank 6 that have lived like 3000 years, and never having seen a murder.
Yes thank you for the clarification and I just want to let you know I’m a big fan. I only comment to novels I truly like because I want to see them improve, again thank for having such open mind to hear you readers opinion
PSYcho_72:Yeah I understand its criticism but from this I can see where you're misunderstandings are. Firstly, the elder has killed many many people. Secondly, he was not terrified of mcs massacre but just wanted to get rid of him after seeing how evil he was. It wasn't a case of “he is so evil so we must kill him”, but “he would harm the clan in the future so we should kill him now.” The reason the Stage 7 punished him was because he is obviously naive. it can be seen how he is overly kind in this cruel world and is even disdained by his son for fretting over injustice. Even the elders disdain his kindness but don't want to speak up. Hope this clears things up. I'm aware that it's not 100 percent clear or realistic. But if it was, the whole incident would just be a load of diplomacy without any action. Naturally, we can't have that. Thanks for the comments though
This hall thing about a rank 6 cultivator can not kill a rank 3, it just ridiculous even if it a righteous force. This point just makes it so unrealistic, say a rank 1 could get a way with disrespecting a rank 6, why would they ever fear the strong or even want to strive to be stronger. of course People would want to increase their life span but some would be content with not improving and indulging themselves in riches and desires. In the end this force’s power would decrease and disappear in the river of time because the was no sense of crisis for the weak. Witch come back to my point earlier this is unrealistic even in the most righteous force, unless the leader where just stupid. Great chapter anyway, this just constructive criticism like you asked
