I feel like magic that sacrifices a phoenix should make people instinctively know he is evil. Like he will always have a magical stench around him that even people who can't sense magic will feel.

Frankly, I congratulate you, you have succeeded in making me hate Dumbledore to a point which until then had never been reached.

Jasmine dealt with Merlin before Dumbledore's sudden power-up is nothing. From what I can recall, Jasmine was the one who made the Deathly Hallows in the first place. What I am finding difficult to understand is why Dumbledore is so focused on nurturing Harry when he could have just become immortal? I hope we discover the reason soon, the reason he avoided the ritual in the first place.
