James may be "missing the mark". But he is at least paying enough attention to realize something is not quite right between them. And he is open enough to listen to others and working to try to fix things between them. Talia does need to go to James's pack to help deal with his father. And hopefully open enough to giving the pack to George and maybe becoming the Beta. James would be a top notch Beta.
James is a Gamma. They are the lead strategists. Damon already talked about making him his Gamma if he could. I think Talia or George will eventually deal with Edward and take the red moon pack leaving James and Cora free to choose where to go. My money is on staying with Damon to assist in the witch initiative.
James already acting older than his age most days. And had brilliant ideas. He needs to figure out how to balance their bond and his future. Wouldn't it be great if George somehow took over the Red Moon Pack instead of James. He could even rename it to his old pack!!! Then James and Cornillia could go anywhere they wanted!!
