I don’t understand why Talia can stand up to a major threat (even when afraid) but will not put a female in her place. Her character development is confusing.

OK so, here are the options (that my limited imagination can come up with): - Talia's wolf wakes up and she destroys the rogues - Hot Shaman happens to be walking by and saves the day - Damon gets to her on time because of her clever stalling - Talia gets taken, manages to escape, kicks butt, takes down rogues, and finds out who betrayed Damon's parents

I hope she can get out of this or Damon comes in time to rescue her.
