As a Beta, Maya was overreaching. She should think about her Alpha first

There is nothing wrong in Maya introducing Talia to new environment/friends, as Talia's friend. The issue was her doing it even after knowing that Lia is Damon's mate and without him knowing abt what she was upto. Also, as a Beta she should not act against her Alpha, even if it's just to make him jealous and stimulate his possessiveness towards Talia.

Maya has compromised Damon and I doubt he will trust her moving forward - but it’s a tight line or hard spot she has backed him into. What to do!????

I think she can say what she wants, but i think her intentions were more to force Damon’s hand in recognizing Talia as his mate and she was very reckless in how she went about it. Im not too fond of her.

Maya went to far, not only has she put Damon in a predicament; but she's also put her husband Caden in a precarious place. He's Damon's real Beta!! Now Damon has to figure out how to deal with this situation. They are both in the wrong. Maya ditched Talia both times they went out, that is acting against both Talia and Damon’s best interests and shows her lack of respect for both. She wanted to provoke Damon. She’s not stupid. And Damon should’ve told Talia she is his mate when he stuffed her in the trunk…

They both have their reasons...so complicated.

I think it only looks bad because Talia does not know that she is his mate. I do think if she knew she would have behaved differently. She spent the whole night with Damon kissing and she still has doubt about him. I don't think Maya is completely wrong. Maya was wrong for leaving her in the club alone. I also think it's Damon's fault because of his reputation of sleeping around. He thinks everyone wants to sleep with Talia. Also, does he not trust her. I know she is fragile but dude, can you give Talia a bit a of trust?

Maya shouldn't have pushed it too far because what of something bad happened and Talia got hurt or worst with guys that aren't her mate. If I was Damon I would think the same.

Maya will need to grovel a bit and prove herself faithful and trust worthy. She was thinking that Talia needs to be independent yes true , but she neglected to be there with Talia to protect her from whatever would harm her. Being a drunkard, an interested man or from Talia herself because of her naiveness.

Maya is definitely making it worse, but she has the best intentions of helping out Talia. Damien definitely is blowing it more out of proportion just needs to tell her that she's his mate. I hope that Maya and Caden will try to explain what happens with the mate bond and she will figure it all out on her own.
