If you do it all the time, hiding the "grand prices" or whatever, it get's annoying and boring. All your plots so far are repeated all over again and again. Sometimes you can hide the "price", but sometimes you should tell it. It feels forced how you try to hide these things to force a mysterious plot coming next. Just forced and boring. The story spiraled down and it seems it gets lower the more chapters I read. Sad, because the story was one of my favorites on Webnovel in the early stages and easily 5* Stars. Now? Around 3* Stars only. You literally ruined it with the last 50-100 chapters...

i guess i'm in the minority because i've always like reading competition arc in web novels. yes it's cliche and somewhat predictable. but i don't know it makes my blood pump. maybe that's why i've always enjoyed reading sport stories / manga.

I'm really liking this novel, but I really think tournament arcs are a bit annoying. just hoping it doesn't last 50 chapters
