having read this and "I Hate Systems" I cant help but marvel at both the similarities and the differences of how systems operate between the two. but considering the many many different energy types that are available to ning I really do wonder if he will ever gain the ability to absorb mental energy or something similar. some of the more specialized energy types are pretty close to it. but still leaving some major differences.

They do have some similarities but its just the simple cliches of systems. Also every energy he unlocks needs a certain requirements or a trigger to obtain such energies, like the previous one the, "magnetic energy "

well our protagonist in the beginning when he obtain his system he literally no longer has soul. Like no soul and all. Plus he can't die, he just like energy, "Energy cannot be destroy nor created, it only transform or change energy " (correct me if I'm wrong).

bonus points to demonic faction if they make their trainees turn into the practice dummies for other trainees for this next part of the training. if the demons are as aggressive and "evil" as they generally are portrayed it would make sense. especially in a might makes right society.
