It's really irritating reading a novel with family scenarios like this! Come on author, why not cut ties directly! What family? Gee! I felt discourage to go on reading...it seems like from the previous novels to this new ones the majority with family scenarios is like..it's very annoying to read...!
is the point of the mother and father of the female lead to just show the audience how incompetent they are? they let the mother supposedly force them to abandon their child for 20 years to the point where they don't even know what she looks like. they let the mother sell her into a marriage. they let the mother insult her in a beat her. And this supposed father who supposedly loves her so much is now feeling guilty that his mother who sold his daughter and forced him to abandon her is angry that she's defending herself when the grandmother is insulting her and trying to abuse her. what pathetic parents. My only hope is that further on in the novel and accident happens and they both get killed off. because they are way too infuriating for me to feel any sympathy or pity towards
