Thx for the chapter. Btw man if ur not feeling good man, as much as I would love to keep reading ur story I recommend u just take a break off this website and get ur head straight. Try do some small things to keep u occupied. I recommend the gym or go for a jog. U can just talk to someone who will listen instead of being depressed by urself or just have some time to urself and when ur ready then come back. It’s not worth it keeping it in man trust me. Have a good one 🤛
You could make so that he wille working on the spell to get to his time, slowly gets better and goes for longer and longer distances in time, and while at it I really think he should bring Thatiana, the two make a good couple, for the last trip maybe something goes wrong and the protagonist has to fight some demon/deity and separates himself from her, to survive and wait for him, she creates a magical sarcophagus and enters stasi waiting for the MC's return to the island. It would be epic and romantic
I think he should stay and wait for him to grow. Not even have him grow physically, but also mentally. One of mason's problems is that he always worries about everything else and puts others before him. If he grows a little bit more detached it be good. Not enough so that he loses his humanity, but enough to stop thinking about everything.
As a suggestion you could do both, he can skip forward a few years at a time so he can grow, but the ancient one limit him or the time travel does, he can grow but slowly untill he reach his own time. This way he can accumulate knowledge but not power, and when he is back in his own time he could start to grow emotionaly, because he repressed his fealing tring to understand his own immortality. I trew some suggestion hoping to inspire the autor. I realy like this story so thank you very much for letting us all read it
personally I'm a fan of the incremental time jumping. I like the idea of him visiting ancient civilizations filled with magic and unique character. I also like the idea of Tatiana and him becoming a couple. it would be interesting to see them become a sort of Nicholas/penny Flamel style character. however I would not want to see them age more than a 100 years. I would strongly suggest that it should take time for them to get back , but it shouldn't take too long. it would be interesting to see him build up that Island in secret over that 2,000 years. a slow growth in between jumps maintained by The elves and the magical creatures. maybe find unique magics to make the Island bigger!?!??. A neo Atlantis/Avalon maybe?!? not underwater but a hidden magical land. I'm pretty sure you got where I'm coming from. either way I am looking forward to your next chapter!
I was thinking about him going to the future but in Harry's fifth year at the beginning, with who else he comes across Back in 50bc no one important left behind. When he goes to Harry's time he sees Dumbledore but feels his magic is off and he gone a bit on the dark side due to either going power hungry or just madness from old age as he seems a bit on the old side in the books and movies when other wizards get to far older ages and still seem pretty fine. He will miss some good parts of history he could get some rewards from but to not make him super overpowered early on it might be wise to push him to the future sooner rather than later unless he just exploring the world with royal mage and any other he picks up along the way, cause she seems the type who likes to explore so she might encourage a minage a toir or something similar. Then go from there. Though he might miss out on darla if he come in Harry's time.
