here is an idea/plot I hope it helps don't let the mc join art and jasmine as an adventurer it would be better for the mc to meet a high ranking adventurer that is a strong swordsman and the mc will be his apprentice this swordsman will have a lot of connection and because of this the mc can join the academy easily and get the old woman(headmaster) attention. during his journey as an adventurer, he will meet art and do a mission together and become friends but after that go there separate ways on one of the mc journey he does a mission and get lost in a forest and he will get help from a beast then become friends with the beast, unfortunately, the beast dies (just make something up) dies and he gets its will and will get an egg make the beast a Phoenix cause that would be cool art has a dragon mc has a Phoenix. the egg hatch and now the mc has a beast companion make his way back to his master tell him about the beast and the will (you have known each other for years and you trust him) he will help you control it and use its power it will be somewhat easy because the 2x learn speed it would be good if the mc knows a master blacksmith so he can get equipment at a discount price time skip mc, art, jasmine, fire mage kid and others goes on the mission go as the original the mc saves art life and he will gain arts trust mission end that academy arc starts there that's all I can do I hope it helps
Mc can use his Fire like shinra and others from FireForce. His Lightning like Raikage's cloak,reinforcing his body even further and something like flying thunder jutsu. His Wind like Yuno from Black Clover,covering the sword with wind thus increasing its sharpness and getting wind blades. He can use his Sound to create sound based illusions,make internal damage and destroy people's ears.
