Sigh, Kaden and his brother are misunderstanding Elias' intention if the reason he chose to search for the immortal has not changed. From what I remember, it was to monitor and ensure that the immortal won't be a danger to his family and kingdom. Besides, considering Lydia's age, the person that became immortal because of her would not be Kaden or his brother. This individual might not even know that they are immortal yet. However, I doubt Elias would be thrilled to know there are 2 other immortals besides the one he is searching for.
Interesting he told her she had changed - of course, in the first life for sure as a woman she held nearly no power - That is why she ended her life in such a tragic way, it was literally the only power she held as a woman, ending her own life. We only know little about her second life but from the time period she would have still held little power as a woman. Now she can be the chairman of her family company and her accomplishments speak for themselves. Finally she can be in control of her life if she chooses to. Hopefully that and her memory of the past lives (and her acknowledgement of all the parallels) will help them survive this one together. The only catch I see is her worry about being mortal.
