Something beneath the sands.... there's only two options... a sandworm or a giant scorpion. It'd be cool if the chief of chiefs tames either of these creatures for his army. The sandworm can negate the negative effects of traveling in desert by creating massive tunnels under the earth that retains moisture, while the scorpion would make for a great "tank" and well he has calvary and artillery but no real airforce or tank forces. These are both just the immediate effects while in the desert, of course there are many other reasons why taming these beasts would be beneficial but well I'll leave that up to everyone else's ideas to allow for more creativity to occur đ
I know he doesnt want to use the system to give himself powers incase it disappears takIng what the powrs with it but i fell he needs to buy some magical troop upGrades like weapons and armmor for this troops that will allow for them to hit harder while also being to bypass the damage negation a lot of his enemy lately have been having. EX: comander aura upgrade alows for tropps in its area to hit (gohost, Sprits,) Demon slayer- Enchanted item does extra damage to demons and other outer planer entities
