Doesn't make sense. The fellow could be a male who has his identity protected due to one or more of the many other reasons. He might be deemed too young to protect himself, or his family might be at risk from enemies, or he could be at risk within his family, or his parents could be fugitives, or he doesn't want others pressurising him and his family, or he simply wants to avoid the hassle of being famous, or ... No doubt this marriage stuff is an often used plot in xianxia novels but by no means a unique one that can be applied here. Even in real life there are tons of people who publish stuff etc anonymously for a myriad of reasons.
