As I keep on reading the more I am liking the overall government structure of the Skywalker dynasty since it reminds me of the economic liberties given to US citizens but I will let lie in the fact that I think Skywalker will become corrupt and power hungry due to the pretty much absolute power he has.

Absolutely dumbest arc yet for character development. You have him going near 2 decades out smarting and out maneuvering everyone, from sith, to jedi, to politicians and so on.... yet have him completely be beaten by a no name "jester" and another no name "pawn". How does that make sense?
