I dont get why he’d want revenge. I mean sure they killed the previous owner but he was caught trying to r@p3 someone. So their actions were kinda justified if you ask me. They technically never harmed the MC directly.
I never understood the concept of polygamy in these novels it's so different from the concept of polygamy we had in our mythology and ancient texts of our culture! in our ancient texts- Except for official posts in the Government, Every Wife in the harem has the same social status and the first wife will be called elder sister By the rest and 2nd one will be elder sister for the 3rd but regardless of their position in the harem they are the wife of their husband all the same and no one including the husband and they themselves had the right to treat one superior than the other in Terms of social status, the only seniority is the order in which they are married to the husband and as for the children, all children are considered equal regardless of whether their mother is the first wife or not, only difference between them is their age and their personal opinions of each other! but in these novels they seem to be ostracised legally and socially, like they can marry multiple women but only the first wife and her child is legally and socially recognised and the rest of them are only there to make up the numbers and exist only for their husbands enjoyment without any actual rights!
I’m glad that he dealt with the bullies, but I hope he spends the time and resources convincing some of them to be on his side. I hope we get to see a redemption for some of them, and I hope a few become actual characters. I also hope the MC makes some political/social mistakes, and learns as a result. Finally, I hope the girl at the end is a real character too, and maybe even has some ulterior motives; a stereotypical fl would be toletable, but I hope this novel goes beyond stereotypes.
