This chapter made me feel like we’re coming close to the end of Skender’s story. Or maybe and hopefully, it’s just the end of the “Constantine’s father” arc. It made me realize we didn’t see much of William in Skender’s story…so far. Considering how close they are to eachother. Anywho, really enjoyed this chapter.

Jasmine, the interactions in this chapter warmed my heart. I am proud of Skender for announcing his love for Roxana in such a grandiose manner in front of the other lords. Hopefully, Roxana will get pregnant on their wedding night. Alexander would be ecstatic. I am sure Angelica’s quick recovery after childbirth has broght more questions to Roxana’s mind. Roxana had already considered her own mortality compared to how long Alexander has already lived. How soon will it be before she learns of the benefits of partaking of the blood of her mate? Since Alexander is an archdemon, what advantages would Roxana have compared to Angelica if (after) she partakes of Alexander’s blood?
