Iris_Nu_Dinh:Very much like my imagination. Thx for the image. Good one đĽ°
This is more progress than him giving in to his desire. He actually let her in on his pain and opened up. This will now help her understand and know the truth to why he is holding back. Very curious to know what she does with this information đ¤. YES to "one more step". By the way. I love how she also refers to herself as shady đ while always thinking good of him.
I found this chapter very sweet đđ. I know there was a lot of honesty to it, and it didnât end âwellâ, but there were many things that were very important as a development and others that were immensely sweet, so, even if it ended with him walking away, it was all very positive to me. First, I think Skender is incredibly strong. We know he is so afraid of opening his heart again, terrified really as he himself said but, at the same time... heâs never cruel, and even when he tries not to be, heâs always caring, always kind. He was able to control his demon even when she was so willing and to pull back his fangs. With a demon such as his, let me tell you, I vow with my hat... The Destroyer would never force his mate or hurt her intentionally as she is the only thing that he wants but he doesnât have the sensitivity to understand what taking her that way would mean for her. Skender does and as I said last chapter, I love him for that đ. The overload of sweetness starts for me with him managing to control himself and with eyes that soften at the sight of her, then moves onto a Roxana that senses his struggle and asks him if he is alright and continues with him apologizing for ruining her hair and trying to make it and her dress alright (my heart almost melt) while walking her home just like a caring man does. Perhaps I am wrong and there isnât much to it, but I found sweet that he told her why he chose the secret passage. He didnât want to explain himself. Something that is true not only in this case but in any other case when he sneaks away (except that when he is alone thereâs no need for a passage as he can teleport himself anywhere). I think that he told her so that she wouldnât think he was trying to hide her because he was ashamed of her. She on the other hand found sweet that he was so unaware that he was taking through such a passage a SHADY thieve (ex-thieve Iâd like to add) such as herself đ. I donât resent him for telling her that she deserves more... she does. She deserves him fully and he isnât there yet. He is decent to know he shouldnât take her that way. Not when he isnât ready to surrender his heart or to make the necessary arrangements that will protect her in the human world they live at. But Roxana is relentless, she fights for him. She shares her feelings, and he can hear them out loud. For someone with such trust issues, this is just what he needs. For instance, he wouldnât have been pushed into a corner, forced into admitting what things are really about, if it werenât for that. They have such a long way ahead. And I think she got that right. He is afraid not only of opening his heart but about her finding out what he is, which isnât only a demon but a destroyer, a cursed one at that đ But this here is the beginning. He admitted being afraid, not wanting to be hurt or giving his heart, shell, he even mentioned âhis friendâ, Ramona and that is definitely a place to start. The Ball is.on her side now as she will need to work with that... Anyway, little by little sheâll understand and little by little trust will grow on both sides, the obstacles that they or the world puts ahead of them crumbling and slowly turning into dust. Ps: I think it is time to face it. Last volume I theorized so much, so many fantasies in my mind. I thought so much about Angelicaâs beauty, the defenderâs genes lasting for many generations, the red hair and the blue eyes... I wondered if perhaps Skender was Angelicaâs and Williamâs ancestor somehow and this is why they all felt familiar to each other. But it is probably just the prophetic mind. I know nobody cares or remembers my ramblings regarding this at this stage, but I felt the need say it out loud đđ¤ˇââď¸...
Welcome back Jasmine! Todayâs chapter is great . Of course, I wanted more chapters. I like Roxanaâs strong character. Roxana is definitely no shrinking violet. She is the woman that Alexander needs to make him complete. Currently, Roxana is much stronger emotionally and than Alexander. He must bare his soul to Roxana in the same manner that Rayven bared his soul to Angelica. Whom will Lucrezia visit next? Will it be Alexander or Roxana? I believe Lucrezia will not allow her plans to become derailed because of Alexanderâs cowardice.
