Good to see them together. Roxana and Angelica. Always beautiful to see someone put the effort to learn, no matter the age. Loved her retort āYou can only be too young. Never too old to do somethingā. Well maybe not become an acrobat at the age of 90 but it does apply for most things š Also, of course sheās well versed in many languages and subjects. If you are clever and vivacious, survival will teach you well. Now, Rayvenā¦ donāt hate me but I am annoyed at how rigid he isā¦ Itās like he has no shade in between. I guess it makes sense all things considered (he was the worst sinner, and he is now redeemed) butā¦ well, I also think it is a character thing. Zarus and Acheron seem to be more flexible and able to move in the shades in between. Stealing and lying is wrong, yes but very often there is more to it (specially in a world where some have so much and others so little). Rayven needs to become less rigid ask more questions. The very basic 'why ' could be one. Roxana will be good not only for Skender but for him and the rest of the Lords as well. I am and have been expectant and really looking forward to his growth and expanse. It is a process that never ends. Hoping to see him open up and see her and consider her under a different light. Also, judging without at least wondering what's behind can be a form of pride... unless he is judging from his own previously sinner self.... maybe there is no more strict judge than that who was a sinner himself...? I don't know... for some, it may make them more prone to understand... Anyway, he never knew need... A lesson all of these lord seem in need to learn... As for Angelica liking herā¦ well no surprises there. Angelica is kind but also perceptive and intuitive. She senses her good heart and warm nature. She also saw her care and help the little girl. But as she said, it might be something else as well. Iām thinking Ramona. I have always believed that Ramona may have seen Skender in the future, happy and in love with someone else. Angelica has her memories hidden somewhere. Will we ever see her again having one of her dreams? I sure would like to. we'll have to wait.
Iām glad Roxana will be around Angelica a bit more. I know Roxana is a theif in this time, but it was for survival. She wouldnāt steal from Angelica or the school. And if she asked for money for Skender to settle her debts, he would give it to her. š¤¦š»āāļø But she doesnāt know that yet, so will not ask.
I know what Roxy has done and what she plans to do is not right but I wish they knew her motives š right now being a thief is defining her amongst the lords and is overshadowing her kindness and struggles, there is so much more to her than just stealing i hope they find out soon but i am sure the person who needs to know already has a clue #teamroxy
What a great, fun chapter. Of course Angelica would be impressed with Roxanne She is impressive and frankly all she has done to survive and help others only adds to it. The stealing is strategic. I would be surprised if she stole from Angelica after she helped her so much. Rayven needs to settle down lol. And perfect for Will and Skender to hear about how she continues to expand her knowledge. Canāt wait for more!!
Yay! Angelica she's almost due! I wonder how Rayven gonna react from the moment she starts going into labor and then holding a tiny little being in his arms. Roxana wouldn't steal from Angelica. she's like Robin hood steals from the rich and gives to the poor. Okay Rayven and Angelica are rich but Roxana knows Angelica helps the less fortunate. I think William might have a little crush on Roxana. Just waiting for the moment for Skender to Roxana into his arms.
