Part one Thank you, Jasmine, chapter was great. Fun and sweet in different ways. I wouldnāt complain about having Roxanaās dream myself š„šā¦ Oh, and I shall say again that Iām Fannyās early fan š. Good friend as they comeā¦ and so balanced. We need these kinds of men in our lives, not only for the sake of friendship but also because it is important to see that there are other ways to be a man. The scene was so funny lol. āOh Alexanderā imitates Fanny. There wonāt be an end to that šā¦ But do you know what I always find very touching? How much he values herā¦ He doesnāt seem to find any impediment for Alexander loving her back even if heās the kingā¦ It isnāt at all realistic of course, but somehow, he seems to know thereās more. Mainly though, and what really matters to me is that he thinks that sheās worth more than any royalty titles and that whoever doesnāt value her, it will be his loss. We all need a Fanny in our lives. Also, despite all the hardships of their livesā¦ I gotta say, there is at least one good part to it. They are freer in their mindsā¦ Sheās much freer than Angelica was. Living outside the rules of society gives you that. Note that this is no criticism against Angelica. Growing up withing those tight rules and having her mindset is beyond meritorious. Iām only pointing it out as a fact. Anyway, her scarsā¦ I know we are all about Skender healing her scars but for me it is more important that she feels desired with and despite the scars. A person is more than that. Moving on to Zarus and the money he gave her. I agree that not taking it, from the human perspective, wouldāve also been risky for her. She knows that heās after something, but she doesnāt know what. If a powerful Lord gives you money and you reject it, you are already in trouble as it is. Good thing that he will be able to read her mind and know that sheās only going along with it but has no plans of acting on it before she leaves. I actually love how little by little sheās starting to develop a relationship with the different Lords. Rayven will come next and Iām very curious to see that. How heāll start finding more things about her. Heās too stiff sometimes, found out she was lying and that was that. Well, with this situation here and with Angelicaās help a completely different world and perspective may just open up.
Part 2 It was lovely seeing Angelica again and knowing her school is open and running. There will be some new additions to it, and I love it. I had been expecting that Roxana would join at some point as sheāll be needing some schooling for her future role. But not only for this of course. Education is so fundamental. Everybody should have access to it. It broadens you mind and can change your life. Anyway, I hope they will all be attending. The boys as well. Rayven will prevent the abuse of the family Lucy works for. And let me say here that he wonāt or shouldnāt do it because that is what Angelica wants or saysā¦ I would be disappointed in him if that would be the only reason. He has to do it because it is wrong. EVEN if Lucy stole although Iām pretty sure it is an excuse. But even if she did, it is totally disproportionate and an abuse to seize the house that is the only thing the little children have. Even if they donāt have documents to support it. Such horrible people and such horrible world. Changing subjectā¦ Roxana is in for an interesting ride with these Lordsā¦ She may be thinking that they are all into men soon enough š³š ā¦ Only problem being that she may end up thinking her dear Alexander is as wellā¦ and I see that comingā¦ oh, our poor girl, what a shock š±š ā¦ With all this background, the night shift will sure prove very interesting andā¦steamy perhapsš„š„? We can surely hopeā¦ Will she be meeting the destroyer perhaps? Will Zarus be there? Will Blayze follow his plans? Wow, I canāt waitā¦ let it be night already!!! Although first, maybe we should wait for Roxana to meet Lord Rayven. Although maybe they wonāt meet? I donāt know. I would love for them to. I know Rayvenās volume is done but I never get tired of seeing him grow and this here is a beautiful opportunity to do soā¦ But maybe they wonāt yet for the sake of the plot? No idea, for now weāll just have to wait..
I wrote in an earlier post that Roxana will be good company for Angelica. Thanks Jasmine for outlining the beginning of what looks like a respectful promising friendship between the two. I can visualise Rayven scanning the house for any missing items after picking his jaw off the floor on seeing Rox/Roxana in his home š š ššš¤£ Love that Angelica is pursuing her dream career of opening a school for girls. Hope she gives birth to twins or triplets.
Such a beautiful chapter ā¤! I love how this is going. Angelica is teaching the girls to read and write. Roxana will become a lady with the help of Angel. Angelica knows that Rayven won't let the young girl loose her house. I feel the hope and peace that she is giving Roxana. Angelica will be the saving angel of the young girl and her family.
