Oh my, this chapter was so fun, had me laughing out loud. I think I said before that the idea of a man being able to read his lady’s mind appears terrible to me because of the asymmetry but that in this case it would be so much fun. That quick and clever as she is, she’ll disorient them and surprise them even if they can read her mind. It isn’t about what she thinks but about her retorts and what she chooses to reply. As expected, as soon as Zarus saw her, she became his little fun project. Here’s hoping it will stay at that… I too am expectant for her meeting with him although I’m not sure our king will be glad. He doesn’t want to think about her and doesn’t not want to fall in love again so he will be fighting back I expect. I’m also very curious to see how the destroyer will react. But whatever happens, I’m sure we will still have some more fun for a while. As long as Ash and zarus as involved, our girl will continue to provide.
You can all laugh, and you are not allowed to ask any further questions, but I shall tell you that my imaginary story with Skender (which I developed much earlier last volume) has some similarities with Roxana’s. I’m not a thief but was drowning, not in the river but on a lake. Then I meet Zarus while dressed as a man, trying to get some gold on my hands to escape … I’m not lying, I swear 😳😂🙈…
