what if it's Skender's own demon that healed him? is that even possible? He has no recollection, coz he doesn't own the powers yet? And what should he do to own them? is it learnt as days go by or he had to underdgo some training or maybe ritual or had to seek someone a lot powerful? why can't as he not taught by his parents? did they fear that he won't be able to control it and be destructive for everyone? on a lighter note...Angelica and Rayven's relationship are going so well. I have no clue what’s up with Skender. But I am so curious about Angelica drinking Rayven’s blood and if she can complete the mating bit by bit? Can they dilute it with water? How will she feel tomorrow?

The plot thickens. Why did Skender’s parents choose not teach him how to harness his powers? My inquiring mind wants to know. I believe among the demon brothers Skender was chosen to be king because he has the potential to become the most powerful.

Well, there was certainly a lot of variety and information in this chapter! My first reflection regarding the mating ceremony is that I like the fact that they both bite each other. It is symmetrical and I always seem to be in need of that. If I wear a mark, so should he. Of course, that only works for demons, but maybe there could be a way for it to work for humans too? Also, I’m curious to know if there might be another version of the ceremony. One for “mixed couples”. To be honest I hadn’t expected the blood drinking to be such a problem. It has me thinking of horrible medicine one has to take while holding one’s nose. I thought it would be part of a sensual experience they would share. That she would drink straight from him, hyped on desire, wanting to take in all of him… as clichés go, I think that’s one I could live with. It was good though, seeing Rayven putting himself in her place. As for Lucrezia, and Skender… well his story is definitely being drawn. The challenges he will face. With all that is being said about it, I think that Skender loosing himself temporarily might actually be a real possibility. Las chapter I said that maybe Constantine will want to use him as a weapon, use him to destroy. He’s a master of manipulation it seems so, why not? Yesterday my first thought was that it was his own demon who took him back. Healed him really fast. Then I decided to entertain the possibility of the witch helping him as well. It was a possibility I liked. It might still be possible as I they don’t necessarily exclude each other. But with all this talks about his powers taking possession of him, the fact that he doesn’t remember that he asked the maid to serve him wine the previous night… that seems like a real chance… Maybe as some of the girls are saying, William’s blood triggered something in him and now his powerful demon has entered the act. Should I be worried? I don’t know. I love him. But I understand that he will have his own challenges, very different from Rayven’s and they seem to revolve around ‘owning his powers’ and ‘not being possesed by them’ as well as eventually giving himself the chance to love again… Why worry then? It will happen anyway. And even if at some point the Arch may want to kill him… well, he can’t die. And his future lady and William will bring him back. Lucrezia, as always when it comes to these things, was very cryptic. Looks like she wants for Rayven and Rayven only to do the work. I don’t oppose. It is time for Rayven to be resourceful and dust his brain and surprise us all. Not by being seductive, loving and supporting but by being able to plan, strategize and outsmart. He may have redeemed himself, but he still has a long way ahead in order to become a good man. This here might contribute to that.

I’m thinking this has something to do with William’s blood & why Constantine wants the blood so badly so that even in the toughest of battles healing will be expedited 🩸 I just hope he doesn’t realise that William is the prophet for a while ♥️

What another amazing chapter!! Angelica taking steps to mating, even though she showed fear at the Mating ceremony, she still wants to try! Amazing this couples determination to strengthen their bond. Skender, that is a twist, yes his demon probably dId heal him. Since he is suppose to be The most powerful… vut there is the twist is He doesn’t remember how he return home, Or what he told the maid about the wine!
