Comments of chapter undefined of Heart of Darkness

Going to see the witches was funny. Poor Lazarus. 🤣 I thought Rayven would get some insight and help with his Angel but guess not. Was Angel's mom a witch? Did she lock away Angel's abilities? I can't wait to find out! Loved the chapter Jazzy! 🤩

Anyone else take great pleasure watching Lazarus get toyed with and virtually beaten when they tossed them out? No? Just me?

God, I love Skender 💙… I know I’m probably such a bore with this, but I think he’s so great. He’s good, kind, smart, responsible, grown up and he still got his whole smirk and tease going on that makes me laugh… all while being so melancholic and sad. He’s like someone many times defeated who keeps caring to try, like a dad to the rest of the demons and like a widower who can’t reassume his love live. I keep thinking that he keeps trying to become the man he’s supposed to be because that’s what Ramona wanted him to be. I don’t have a problem with him being better than Rayven because the truth is, he has been so far. Nor do I have a problem with Rayven being jealous, I think it’s good. Rayven needs to look at that mirror and instead of just be jealous, improve himself. Skender reminding him of all he didn’t do to help should be no just source of shame but a motor for him to do better. I am however proud of his mature thinking, that however bothered he might be, she shouldn’t suffer for it. And being a little insecure isn’t a bad thing. Being pathologically insecure is a problem but holding a little reasonable doubt isn’t bad but normal and even healthy, we should never be too full of ourselves. Besides, I’ve been saying it for a long time. Rayven respects him, even from the beginning. It is good for him to have a different role model other than his dad. Whole thing with Lazarus cracked me up but I was proud as well. He went there with Skender to help with no benefit to himself. He then got extra fried but he probably deserved that much…🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, we have learned more things today and my heart feels lighter. Defenders are Archdemons and Angelica’s powers are dormant. The shades must’ve been to her place looking for a clue as to who hid them… I hope they didn’t find any and it lies among her mother's things she brought back from her house. I hope we will be seeing the witches again. Lazarus might even fall for one of them (and wouldn’t that be something?😂😂)... Skender probably went there looking for a spell to make Lord Davis forget. He really did try. And such a hard time he got back then, poor man. Anyway, I’m pretty sure Constantin has something planned. Rayven needs to start using his brain, that temper of his isn’t the best and now that he has his heart, he needs to be careful, he could walk into a trap… Can’t wait for Angelica and Skender to meet, to see William again… Loooved the chapter. I’m all into Rayven’s and Angel’s romance but I love the rest of the story and characters and I’m always so happy when they pop up. Thank you Jasmine, I enjoyed this chapter so much 💕💕💕💕💕

so is Angelica a witch?😱 the demons - witches encounter is partly informative and funny🤭😂 (Lazarus why d'you have to flirt🤣) More possibilities,more questions, a whole lot of answers for Skender,Rayven and co to find out.

My theory: Angelica is a prophet and while prophets are not necessarily the same person over and over they do carry memories of the past prophets. Maybe that's why Skender was looking for her, to find out maybe some of Ramona's memories. I think Angelica is the actual prophet, between her and Will, the original prophet, the intended prophet. Maybe prophets don't have visions from early childhood but a little later on. Maybe around the time Angelica started having hers , her mom locked her powers with a spell that transferred them/some of them to her brother knowing that a male prophet would be not expected therefore not in danger. Maybe her mom's death was the required sacrifice for the spell. On a different note, my favorite thing about this chapter was Skender revealing he has seen the witches before when he tried to help Angelica's father. The fact that he kept his gesture to himself, without any need for praise or recognition , the fact that he put himself in danger to right a wrong he felt responsible for.....chapeau, my King! As for Lazarus, funny as always....I hope that beautiful witch who toyed with him will be the heroine and lead female of his book. Thank you for the chapter, Jasmine. I was thinking earlier how wonderful your imagination is not only because of how you tell the story but because all these different characters live there. The way you paint each one of them with different colors and different brushes staying consistent with their patterns, so many relevant, different, interesting, unique characters...then your command of the language and the twisted, intriguing plot... You are amazing and have a beautiful mind!

Angelicas’s mom died When william was born so is that why Wills power are manifested and Angels is hidden ??

Loved this whole chapter and the brotherly relationship shown between them. Like bickering siblings, but still working together and supporting one another. 😂😂😂

Looks like Rayven is a little hot and bothered too 😏😉 The witches were fascinating! I hope to see more of them to come. And i hope Skender and Rayven can figure out how to unlock Angel’s abIlities! Will Skender come talk to Angelica after he talks to William? Seems like it's time for one of William's weekend visits.

Interesting to have the witches join in they seem fun 😅😂but they didnt help much, hopefully William can be of more help in finding a way to protect Angelica and release her powers.

I really believe that William can help guide Angel somewhat. He has always been able to talk to her and clarify things. He was not able to share certain things because he did not want to break confidence but since she knows I think it’s time for him to visit her. It would help her a whole lot!

Was her mom a witch? Do they come from the bloodline of the woman Skender loved? I also I wonder how Rayven feels knowing he can’t protect Angel from Constantine.
