I love how Jasmine is working through the issues between Rayven and Angelica on the psychological dimension. I think we had made many theories involving the shades… we even came to believe they would have to be a necessary evil to turn the tide with him. He was so stubborn. But it took only her fighting, her strenght, her kindness. I don’t not know if her fainting episode has another mysterious cause attached to it but so far it seems like it’s just pure and sheer exhaustion and physical, emotional and mental overload. A whole new level guilt trip has now begun for Rayven, and I can’t say I feel bad. I had been expecting it ever since she arrived. I hope of course that this time he’ll handle things differently. Because this time he’s on time. He’s on time to correct things, to make things right. What she told him today was priceless. The breaking point for him was the balcony scene but it takes a lot more than that to make someone trustworthy. It takes time and showing you’re good for your words. Last chapter I sure was positively surprised to hear him voice what he wants but I couldn’t let myself be carried away. “I know your feeling are not there yet” Well you have barely been there yourself for hours, literally… and you don’t even trust yourself… So, I am very thankful to Jasmine. I am very often amazed (and not positively) at how, for the sake of romance we women tend to be content with very little and accept all sorts of things, minimizing very serious stuff. I’ve tried to read more than one story around and have often run away, terrified. Jasmine and Angelica return my faith in the genre. It is now Rayven’s time. “She had fought for him and for herself all this time. She saved him and she saved herself. He didn’t save [her]”. Well, he’s having so many revelations, one after the other. Also of how carless and uninterested he was. The scars on her feet, the ones on her legs from working at Lord Gree’s house… he never asked. So, It is his time to fight, be patient, take care of her. He wants to be a husband? Well, here’s his chance. Make sure she eats, she sleeps, she’s calm. Be there, be dependable. Not have her be afraid all the time, you know, she can barely breath not knowing when it is that you won’t be coming back… Really Rayven, this is the time to grow up, this is where you redemption begins. Being selfless, doing the work. Only then will your heart fully heal. On another note, Skender refers to Ramona, the prophetess as a friend… so was she not the woman he loved then? God, this whole mystery is killing me…You know back when the whole episode with the bats I thought maybe something had happened when she was little, but I didn’t think then about the shades. But I’m pretty sure the shades want something specifically with her. They probably don’t expect William to be the prophet since they have always been female… Back at the beginning I used to say William could see the future and Angelica could see the past… Who knows, maybe in some way I was right. We need to know more, also about her mom…. Anyway, thank you so much Jasmine! I’m so thrilled and on edge and loving the story more and more everyday.Thank you for so many amazing chapters this week everyday!!!💕💕💕💕

🤔 So maybe she is Skenders friend reincarnated 🤷♀️ Still so many questions and it seems we are not the only ones wondering her connection to Skender is. So her poor body went through to much and now the trauma and events have caught up to her 😞 Take care of her Rayven, let her rest and give her lots and lots of TLC 🥰 Maybe William needs to come for a visit as well that would be good for her. That way they can speak about what they both know and he can provide some of wise words to her.
It looks like Rayven is going to get a crash course in caring for someone! 😂 I am so anxious to find out what/who Angelica truly is. Stress and anxiety are definitely not the only issuses she is dealing with right now. She passed out as soon as Rayven said the word Prophetess. 🤔 I am also dying to know what her connection to Skender is! Finally, Angelica put him in his place! I love Angelica for telling him exactly what was in her mind and letting him know he needs to shape up! I will just be over here on pins and needles waiting for our next update. 😎😎😎 Thank you, Jasmine, for all of the extra chapters this week! I would not be sad if they continued. 😏
I read other works on here for sure but Jazzy is by far the best. Her plots, characters, and twist are just too good. Just when think you Know something, she’ll throw something at you. Now excuse me while I Try to patiently wait for the next update. Haha Angelica I’m going to need you to wake up so we can see where Jazzy is taking your character.
The hardship she endured working on The despicable Lord Green field and kitchen has taken its toll on her fragile body, including the arduous 😰 journey to Lord Rayven’s castle. And now listening to all these gruesome revelations is enough to drive any sane person over the edge, much more so one that is emotionally and mentally fragile from trauma suffered. Rayven, you were in your own pitiful dying to die world in the beginning. Now that you are falling in love and deeply care now for Angelica provides the golden opportunity to care for your soul mate physically and emotional well-being. Tenderly and lovingly take care of and protect your love, Angel . You maybe surprised that she might accept to mate with you much sooner than later.
