Oh wow: so much mystery. There is a lot of backstory to get on Angelica and her family, the king and Lord Rayven. What is their prior story and how do they feel familiar but not remember??

So I am over here pondering and wondering who is who and what is going to happen 🤔🤔 How will the King stop her from marrying Shaw if he wasnt planning on it? How does Rayven know her father is up to no good? Why does the Kings name sound so familiar to her but she has no memory of him? So many twist and turns my poor brain is in over drive trying to figure out what is going down and what could go down.

Im thinking that it is a demon that is attacing women. Maybe it is the King. Maybe his demon side is coming out trying to find his true mate and can’t be controlled until he finds her. Or possibly he was cursed to do this until he found his mate. I bet his parents and her mom knew each other.

Hmm, past life? Reincarnation? She’s disappointed about the King but she belongs with Rayven.🤔 It’s kind of him to warn her about her father too, but there’s really nothing she can do. The King will talk to her father about Sir Shaw, huh. I wonder how that will go?🤔🤔🤔

Okay. I admit so far this has kept my curiosity going. This chapter combined with the first ones has me intrigued.

I’m thinking that Angelica has a gift like her brother, but has been too busy raising him to notice it. That she IS the one the King is looking for, the one that can help him and his court, though not sure how/why she knows him? And, I think, Lord Rayven really likes her, but thinks she could never see beyond his scars, so he pretends to be the monster people expect to keep them at a distance. Which is so sad! 😢 Poor Rayven. 💔 Just my musings. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I really like Skender (the king), but I am cautious of any future events that may reveal any unfortunate colors of the characters :/

Lord Rayven sounds good but Ravyen or Raven are my options too as you portrait his character deep, dark , different , difficult , full of secrets.... I m loving the story and looking forward for....

Is the king the ML or Rayven? Why does the king's name sound familiar to Angelina? I'm so confused
