Well those were two very exciting chapters. It looks like we are getting close to her father doing something he shouldn’t. I just hope William enda up being okay. I dont remember if he was mentioned in the first chapter or original description.

Thanks for those two intriguing chapters. I hope their father wouldn't think of doing of what he had planned to the King; lest they get into trouble. Maybe this King is not your so called King as one sees him; having concealed secrets not intended to be found out. William is right; just not enough yet to fully trust him. He trusts more Lord Rayven because beyond the surface there's more to knowing of his quiet character.

I suspect the King won’t leave Angelica alone. I wonder what will happen if she tries to leave without hwr father’s permission? Will he lock her and William in?

Jasmine, thank you for the lastest chapters. What are the king’s intentions regarding Angelica. I am pleased that she is not in awe of him like her “friends” are. Hilde has no valid reason to jealous of Angelica. All that glitters ain’t gold.

Just had a interesting thought ... Maybe the killer is a vampire slayer (or similar). Supernatural being slayer. And we’re on the side of the non-humans. Cause they’re not bad. And when the king said Angelica was not “the one”, he meant she’s not the slayer (not the one) cause she and Will are also non-human or half breeds. Perhaps when that lord Q said Lord Rayven “hates people”, he meant hates humans cause he’s not human and humans caused his scars. 🤔 🤷‍♀️

I super curious about Wills gift. And im beginning to wonder if the king isnt aware that he is gifted as well. I suspect that might be why hes taken such an interest in him. Makes me think back to their firts meeting when the king asked her what she is. And the fact that even though he likes the king but yet Will still doesnt trust him makes me more suspicious of him. And how about the dads sudden flip-flop of opinions, he was so intent on pawning his daughter off on him only a couple days ago and now he doesnt want them having anything to do with him. wonder what thats all about?.....The plot thickens!!!
