I don't understand why he is always Testing a skill when he is in dire circumstances. Just kill and test things when you have the time. He is always running out of power/energy at the most important times. He is not learning from these lessons. He keeps on being arrogant.😒

he needs to create an alarm in his dreamscape that is capable of shutting it down when he hits 10% soul force left. that shuts down the ability and allows him to be in the situation he is now but still have 10% left inorder to still plan and get away

Few thoughts i feel like leonel could benefit from (though not during this sub arc) a weapon like a fancy boomerang could be blunt or bladed or one of each side as he is likely precise enough to use something like that. The other thing is I feel like a good king arthur could have done a lot for this story or at least leonel as a character he could have made an interesting role model as somebody born into a greatness they only knew about later on who has suffered betrayal by those thought closest though not same kind as a leader of men and more Leonel could benefit from proper mentorship that he doesnt have to be at odds woth soon after. he could also benefit from learning to lead from a legendary leader of men there are definitely pros to the route you have taken though mc is starting to feel like he is falling into a loop of join group deal with reasonable amount of looking down on given what he’s shown them or suspicion then fall out this arc could have let him develop the skills to develop a faction of his own by being mentored by a leader he didnt have to fall out with could have had arthur teach him stuff about spearmanship a bit too as one of arthurs three Weapons is well a spear. could potentially have shown him how to wade theough the world with a soft heart too as at least a good king arthur tends to fall more into that vibe. other weapons that could be neat would be obviously range based are needles or throwing knives/axes technically if you wanna go crazy you could have him have a deck of bladed cards each with different arts drawn on them and maybe a holder that they are tied to and sent back to after contact as well as kept in order by but while that gives possibilities also limits them anyways The novel is good though i think it suffers from mc being too much of a loner and not really having anyone to talk fully openly to as an equal/share his worries with and thank you for reading this word vomit if You did

Sorry author, but i can't understand this. How could he have not noticed that his soul force was almost over? Especially during a state in which he could easily analyse everything. Also, i thought abilities didn't use soul force?
