At least Dyon quickly found people who were willing to defend him and then found a kingdom willing to fight with him. Leonel gets F'ed at literally every turn except with his eventual girlfriend(whose name escapes me right now, starts with an A) and Old Hutch. To be fair, some of the people Leonel has met would have stuck up for him but they did not have the strength to do so. It also sucks because we know Leonel has two massive backers in the form of his dad's clan and his grandfather the Emperor but both are content with turning Leonel into a distrustful psycho. I imagine when he finds out that the Emperor who is his literal blood grandfather stood back to let him suffer for some BS test, he will rip the Ascension Empire into pieces just to prove a point. Most likely he wont be happy with his dad either for doing the same thing but at least his dad gave him some tools to survive. One more thing, Leonel constantly calling out the AE, SL, and Camelot for showing blatant favoritism and classism while simultaneously making sure to constantly keep in check 'commoners, is one of my favorite character traits of his. Hence why I think he would make a great leader if he ever gets over constantly being stabbed in the back and learns to trust people again. Right now he still is willing to trust people and organizations but I am not sure how long his trust and naivety in people will last, if this trend of being stabbed in the back continues.
