I love the idea of him having power breakthroughs based on his understanding of his arts growing through conversations with Monica like this. He’s so focused and serious and blinded by his own progress at times and adding the outside perspective was a really great touch. Letting him take a second look at something he thought was just his element but now it being maybe his control has advanced considerably is cool. i like how this combination of alien arts can make his power spike a lot higher and possibly be the gateway to being a fourth ranked warrior. All through his own knowledge and experience. This is his chance to break free of borrowing arts from the military or other aliens techniques and finally making something for himself. I cant wait to see where you take this and I hope you write more on his progress with this. Also please give him some really cool technique with this. Something strong and powerful but unique that raises his value more.
