It’s so heartwarming how Roman prioritizes Julie’s safety instead of his thirst despite the difficulties. And I liked that Donovan had the chance to spend some time with the couple no matter how annoying he was. Although I still hope for Julie & Roman to have some alone time before they go back and face the issues in Veteris. Donovan’s fun escapade will come to an end soon. It’s gonna get chaotic. Especially with the hunters in the mix. Simon’s still not safe until he leaves their turf. Thanks for the update, Ash! 🖤
I’m so proud of you Rome! Doing such a good job controlling your thirst. I’m going to go with Donovan on this one. I’m betting Rome will come out stronger out from this. Just like Julie is like half dead? IM guessing Rome’s mother also passed in some of her awesome genes. Let’ not forget, that trick he does with the two rings on his necklace.
He might have felt unbearable to hold himself together without hurting her, that might be why the bed is empty that he went out either to take a sip from someone or to keep away from hurting her. OR he might just went to the bathroom or downstairs just so and so without waking her. Whatever the reason is he always put Julie first. That always felt warm, caring and so romantic. I love how sweet and caring Rome is towards Julie. She truly is his treasure. It's hard to know he is suffering so much internally but his love for her is keeping him together. Hopefully soon some kind of solution can be found to make keeping the ripper side in check easier. So fascinating how does have become friends and family for Julie. Who would have though in the beginning of the story that Julie would ever trust Evans and actually look for his advice. Even Donovan, while still always being himself, is willing to advise and guide her. Her family is growing bigger by the day.
It must be hard for Roman to control his thirst but that's what makes him special. (Even in his ripper form) Ah but Julie is so thoughtful thinking about Rome. How sweet are these two. 🥰 I wonder where Roman is if he's not in bed with Julie....did he go get something to drink or is he hanging out with Aunt Sarah? 😅
