Interesting few chapters with Rome indirectly confronting Donny about abandoning his mother, and Donny continuing to push himself on Rome and Julie. I do think he cared for Rome’s mom as much as he is capable of caring for someone. And more than him actually wanting a family he sees himself being excluded from Rome’s life and that stings. I think before his pride about Rome being superior was more like ownership rather than a familial feeling. But who knows - maybe Julie is influencing more hearts than just Romes. Maybe they will be one big happy family one day??
