It’s sad that Knox couldn’t stay longer.. but at least Julie has Rome and Donovan (hopefully) now. Was Melanie compelled or not?! Hunters are definitely about to show up! This is gonna get more chaotic with Enoch on the loose~

Things are going to go sideways here reaal Quick!!! Ash wouldn’t Have mentioned Connor offering them that orange candy for no reason! Julie didn’t eat hers but Mel did. It had to have been special candy from his parents. So at least Mel, and probably Connor too, currently cannot be compelled. What will Simon do about it? Roman and Julie are on their way back to Veteris, but will that help or hurt in this situation?

Simon and Melanie are the newest “it” couple. This is getting good. Donovan and Rome will now protect Julie. I’m ready for some lovey dovey chapters between Julie and Rome- we have had too mUch sadness.

Simon doesn't know Enoch and doesn't know Roman, Julie and Donovan are in Willow Creek, so I'm sure he is freaking out just a little that he can't compile Melanie and get help. Connor's hunter skills are coming out also. I hope the three make it out of Willow Creek and find them.

Oh no! Can Mel not be compelled!? I think Simon likes her sassy attitude to kill her and will be protecting her instead.

I think both of them are taking that so called vitamin tablets that their parents gave them, or atleast Mel. Why else Simon is unable to compel her. And why did he waited till later to compel them? I think he's falling for Mel and wanted to spend a lil time with her away from everyone. It was sad that Knox couldn't stay. But, at the same time it was a relief that even though he's not normal human, he is not a monster either like the person she believed to be her father. From now on her life won't be the same. Neither of their life will be. It's gonna be eventful with a crazy vamp set loose along with his greedy brother who never missed a chance to make their lives miserable.

I feel sad for julie when her dad died

I strongly believe that Mel may support the vampires if not for anything but for the fact that Julie would want her to. I think she would want to support her friend and all that

It's getting heated in here. Rome has had the worst of fates ever and he's really hurting only he doesn't like to feel the pain so he locks it in. Can Julie's love save him? Will she be able to heal him? Uhh!! Conner and Mel aren't safe while Julie is away. Simon on the other hand is a terrible "lover boy" as he doesn't know how to get a girl's attention. Mel is not like other cheap girls to simply entice. This guy needs classes. But hold up, where did Enoch go? Good grief!! Also, did Mel perhaps take those "vitamins" that her parents often give? Why else can't she be compelled? Will Simon protect her like Rome has been doing for Julie? I mean, if he likes her, would he protect her?

What an incredible chapter as always!!! I do have a couple of request from you, my dearest author, Ash, Would you please consider bringing Knox back? I feel so sad for Julie😭, she could really use having a family member around and could you put Simon and Melanie together? They seem to make a great couple. They have, “A thin line between love and hate”, kind of relationship. Thanks for this update, loving your stories!!!

Just felt sad now that Knox is gone. 😟 felt sad for Simon... he really likes Mel and Mel is to blind to see it. 😟
