The secret behind the birth of The Great Roman Moltenor or should I say Roman Donovan? Okay, here is the possibility one, either she was compelled by him to forget the time she spent with her and then she might have fallen in love with Mr.Moltenor and might have assumed that Roman is his child. He might have compelled Lilian sa well as Mr. Moltenor to believe that they had relation and she conceived from him. or Mr. Moltenor took over the burden either to help Donovan out of loyalty, or to help Lilian for the love he felt for her or to repay her for something. Whatever the probability is Donovan knew from the beginning that Roman is his son without anyone telling him. Roman was never a normal human to begin with. Now the mysteries is unraveling slowly making much more sense.

but why would he want his son to be a ripper.... why?

Wow finally, Roman’s back story. I’m hoping a lot of questiona will be answered in the coming chapters - why his hearts beats differently, can Donovan Have emotions for the so called lowly humans? Kinda looking forward to read his love story. Guess Rome gets his pinch of wickedness from his father and aloofness from his mum. Oooooo can’t Wait till Rome find out that the annoying old bat is actually His dad! Woohoo! What a chapter that will be!!

When Roman's mother passed away did Donovan compile Roman's dad to make him think Roman's was his actual child because he didn't think he could raise him properly? Or is the dad that raised him his actual dad? Did Donovan actually love Roman's mother? I am excited to find out! It's great reading the history of Julie and Roman.

Wow! Can’t believe Donovan is Roman’s dad, but I had a feeling Rom was part vampire already. I wonder what Rom will say when he finds out…I wonder how Moltenare factors into everything.

Lena Blackburn is Romans mother. Lillian could be his grandmother, making Donovan his GRANDfather. As Aoi pointed out earlier. makes a lot more since to me. meaning that maybe the vampire was generationally suppressed. Also why Donovan is so attached. Also, why Donovan changed him the way he did, by the heart and not by feeding. Roman is a true bloodline, and Donovan was awakening the suppressed vampire inside Roman.

Donovan Being Roman father! Being sweet to Lillian in his own way. This is wonderful finally getting to know Donovan and Roman back story and how it began!

Am not ready!

I believe this was the time when Castiel MARUDAS was beginning to settle down in his brother's town (Max's father) and together with DONOVAN and Remy OSCAR who were in search of the witches' stones which might be possibly left with the remaining ones somehow by them. I called it out in the previous chapter that it wasn't only Castiel that seemed to have tried to live with the humans there in his brother's town (Moltenore's also living there, plus Trosney; Isuppose) but also Azazel; and so there it is, his backstory in this chapter. But as the name Lilian (what's her last name?) was mentioned here; was her name changed to LENA (BLACKBURN; as per Roman) when she eventually got connected with MALCOLM MOLTENORE? the question also is HOW DID THEY CAME TO BE; and WHY NOT with DONOVAN. Maybe DONOVAN got acquainted with MOLTENORE here same as MARUDAS. We can also deduce that Remy OSCAR kept watch on Dr. Trosney here when he got to know him first in this town. As Sethu_123 have theorised earlier, it would be highly plausible that DONOVAN used his COMPELLING here. But I am also guessing that maybe DONOVAN is DISGUISED as MOLTENORE here; bcs in Roman's backstory it was only TRISTAN'S death that's been HIGHLIGHTED before and most of the time it was only Lady PETRONILLE that's being mentioned in Roman's younger years. If I remember it correctly, MALCOLM MOLTENORE'S "presence" was only thrice remarked in the story. I will just have to wait for more on what has transpired FOR REAL in DONOVAN'S story in connection with ROMAN'S origin. 😅👀

I love the backstory; however, I still have so many questions!!! Author Ash, you’re making our brains hurt 😂

Can I just give a shout out to the author for not only making us anticipate each and every chapter release but also for not stopping the chapters abruptly like other books do. You make these chapters just long enough to keep us coming back for more. This is by far my favorite story on this app.

My suggestion to the author ( though with a sad heart) is to take a 15 days break and get her eyes treated properly. It is really important to take care of your health specially something delicate like an eye.

I'm also willing to bet, Donovan did away with that inn owner. I also wonder if it's the same INN that Julie stayed in that Roman sent her to, that his DISTANT COUSIN owns. HMMMMMMM
