Roman being Donovan's explains why Dante said she wondered if his transformation awoke something that was already in him. šÆ But then why did Lord Moltenore take him in and claimed that he was his son? š¤ In the earlier chapters Ash mentioned that both Tristan and Roman had black hair but Roman has his mother's eyes. Could his mom be his father's relative? That's why he took him in? Curiouser and curiouser.
Okay here I feel something fishy. Why did Donovan mention Roman's mother who passed away due to illness instead of his entire family who got killed? So he might know Roman's mother which might lead him to chose Roman as his disciple. Do not forget his beating heart and his strength is par with elders. Enoch and his brother is gonna be a real big problem. Donovan should've handled him when he had the chance. No now I wonder what's waiting for them. Glad that Roman and Julie are back in track.
well I would say that partially explains why Rome is different because he was already born half vampire and then completely turned after he died, his fate was already made up before he even knew vamps existed!!! Rome is gonna be angry when he finds out hopefully he can keep it together for Julie and not go all ripper. This is explains why Donovan was already so attached to him when he showed up before the massacre. I'm guessing Rome is something more because he was probably the first and only born vampire!
So Roman's mother was a witch and his bio father is a vampire and if vampire blood makes witches immortal, that explains why Roman's still has a beating heart š ā¤. So can Roman's blood make Julie immortal or does it need to be Donovan's blood. I bet Enoch escaped went Roman and Sullivan came over the bridge. I hope Knox gets to spend a little more time with his daughter.

And why he even wanted to save Julie from Enoch and from Willow because internally he knows that his son adores her so much.... Never knew that Dononhad feelings ... Oh my gawd !!! Revelation after revelations and yet there are more questions to ask! If Donovan is Romanās biological dad, was Lord Moltemore Donovanās brother then or Romanās mom related to the Lord? I want to know more backstory!! Shocked would be an understatement. So its confirmed, Rome is Donovans son. It does make the clinginess make more sense now. I wonder when Roman is going to find out and how hes going to react. I'll bet Julie is going to be the one to figure it out with her abilities. So "Mortimer" is Enochs brother. It makes sense now that he and Donovan have a feud. I'll guess when Enoch didn't return from the trip to Willow Creek Joaquin blamed Donovan and swore to get revenge. Now Enoch has most likely escaped and will be teaming up with his brother to take down Veteris.
