I love this chapter revealing some of the saddest of Roman's memories and yet it gave him good ones at the end with Lady Petronille taking care of him when he was sick at that point in time. Such cuteness overload between our loves here; a so inquisitive, persistent Julie to the sweet, thoughtful Roman. 💖🥰💖 Wonder now what's next with the continuation of Roman's memories on the point when he was turned to become among the vampires/Elders.

aw this chapter is so touching Roman taking care of Julie while she's sick and now their relationship has gotten better now theyre officially a couple (I think if I didn't miss read it) and this flashback of him fallen sick and Lady Petronille taking care of him as a mother would do, had me crying 😢, I felt it very deep in me how much Roman has suffered and it makes me wonder how his relationship with his new family was as he actually thinks of them as his family also wondering who is still alive as he did mentioned that the ones he called family were death but I guess more members of his family are still alive

They are officially together, woohoo, LOVEI IT❣️ This is such a heartwarming and heartbreaking chapter🥺 It’s always nice to see the backstory of both of the protagonists sides. Explains a lot about them. Glad to know that Lady Petronille wasn’t a cruel person after all. Nice to know that she eventually took Roman in as part of the family. sweet lord. this chapter is full of fluff and happiness, but sad yet also traumatic. he learned about the warmth of someone's care who he always thought that she hates him. but she doesn't. she just despise her husband, for betraying her. If only we can see another flashback about his childhood.
