I love that Julie can show her vulnerable side with Roman. Hopefully, Rome can do the same soon. Ahhhh such progress. Ok, I’m going to be controversial now… I have mixed feelings/thoughts about Roman and at the moment I’m not sure I like him. I really want to love this bad boy but I’m reluctant right now. There, I’ve said (written) it. I really want to like Roman and part of me does; he is intelligent, clever, witty, unpredictable, unconventional & he has saved our heroine, Julie, on more than one occasion. He is fulfilling the role of our anti-hero nicely. Perhaps I’m irritated for Julie because if I were in her shoes I would feel frustrated and confused by him : he relentlessly taunts her, teases her, manipulates her words & embarrasses her. Yet simultaneously he can’t keep his eyes off of her, feels protective of her to the point of annoyance where her ignorance is getting her in trouble and he feels compelled to step in, even when she can’t be compelled herself. He is warm then deadly cold. For Julie & myself, its a confusing situation. Does Roman even know how he feels towards Julie? Are my confused thoughts about him intentional to reflect our FL and ML’s confused feelings towards each other? In many stories the ML is easily liked despite their obvious flaws, Calhoun is an easy example. Perhaps Ash is taking an unconventional approach and taking her time with Roman so that the readers do question his intentions towards Julie. If I’m right, Ash is cleverly writing this so we feel Julie’s confusion, awkwardness, embarrassment & irritation towards Roman while also being attracted to him, intrigued and involuntarily drawn to him. Julie’s confusion is my confusion. Ash is one talented author 👌🏻 So I hope as Julie falls hopelessly in love with Roman, so will I love his character. In other news: • what was the bird headed creature? Real? Dream? Vision? • Loving the sleep over! Loving the story a bit too much…. refreshing the app far too often!!!

Oh MY!!!!! My body hairs are standing upright with their proximity, I'm getting goosebumps all over. His hands might be itching to caress the little butterfly's cheeks, or to pass a butterfly kiss on her luscious lips. I can understand there is a long way to go before their first 💋 kiss. However, I couldn't help it, but anticipate it for every new updates. So, slowly and gradually things are gonna take turn in her life I believe. It might not be a dream exactly, instead a dreamy reality of the ghoul doctor. I be it will be getting even more interesting and exciting with upcoming updates. Wasn't he a bit mean at the same time cute to barge in and claim her room just like that. Expecting a lot more uninvited visits and sleep overs. slowly he'll claim her too. Can't wait for it.

I kind of want him to stay in her room. I know nothing will happen between them (not tonighy anyway), but it would be good for her to get more used to having him around. Plus, maybe he’d drop the sinister glare by spending time in that room? Or maybe not?

Roman, you possessive vamp don't scare Julie she didn't mean to claim the room hers she just said it's hers for now not forever you dude should learn how to share things with her anyway 😉 Oh Julie now it's your turn to pick up the letters from Romeo and start practicing not getting caught, wondering how that will go, you clumsy little girl 😁😅🤭 what about that bird face man?? that was scary I hope it was just a dream and not real but it sounds more real than anything wondering who could it be??

Hmm i think rom needs to teach her a lesson. 😏😏 hopefully the professors decide to patrol all night and rom cant leave 🤣

so, he wants to keep it claimed as his room even if it's just only bad memories that he got from it. I wonder will he be more open to her and talk about himself comfortably? will he tell her about vampire when the school banned them to talk about it?

When Rome asked her if she ever dreams about the past, im getting a double meaning from that question, like he asked making her think he was talking about her scars but I feel like he's digging to see if she has dreams from a possible past life...my thoughts keep thinking that maybe Julie is a reincarnation of someone Roman loved in the past hence him having a pair of rings and that is why he was drawn to her immediately and can't quit thinking about her. 🤔 Just some thoughts...I mean it would be cool if so because it just proves that Roman and Julie are meant to be together but at the same time I like the idea of Roman falling for a simple human girl like Julie, forbidden love, it will just stink if the rings did belong to him and a past lover if so he's gonna be extra cold to her once he figures out he has feelings for her because he will probably feel guilt, anger, and like he's not supposed to have those feelings towards anyone else and the relationship would become complicated between them.

Whose rings could it be that are on Rome's necklace? 🤔 Now that they're together in the room; I hope they won't be caught or else they'll never have the chance again to do this. 🥰 He's being a little mean again with Julie, telling her it's her turn to go outside and deliver the letters to his dorm. Will Julie be able to sneak out of her room and sneak in into Rome's room in the boys' dormitorium if she's to do her turn now? I hope Rome reconsiders that he stays with the usual setting with him going to Julie's room bringing his letter to her; and I don't mind if he can stay for a while in her room which is originally his as he keeps on saying and have some meaningful conversations with her and spend some time together.💓💓💓 Julie should be wary and careful of that masked bird lurking and prodding around the campus; maybe it's one of the heads doing their patrolling just like Mr. Evans was doing. But I am hoping it's just a dream as stated.

I was screaming and jumping happy with this chapter…. i like how their relationship is getting deeper each encounter and they are getting more comfortable with each other. 🥰 I love moments likethis where they can talk to each other and know each other more 💚🥰 Seems like i can’t get enough of the sweetness…. i love it, i love this book…. happy heart

What is his obsession with the room? I know it was his in the past, but he is way too territorial.

Roman is so sly, he makes Julie nervous , excited and scared at the same time. And to tell her he won’t hurt her… love it. She will trust him more with time and want him to theach her things. Ok the bird face thing…. was it real or just a dream, she can’t be compelled. What is Rome gonna think when she tells her dream/incounter? What does it want?
