I really need to buckle down and finish at least volume 1. My ADD is way too- oh, look at the kitty... Where was I? I have an easy dozen stories I've started with a hundred ideas, but it's like throwing darts in the dark at moving targets to see which one I'll have motivation to work on. Then, when I did work on this one, I started going on a tangent and introducing new characters because I couldn't think of a better place to introduce them than here and now. So, I've stepped back a little to look at the big picture and once I hit the target once more I'll come back and finish the next chapter.
A. Welcome back. 2. You already mentioned one option, he is working on time magic. Think similar to Negima! or Harry Potter, have it where he can travel back in time repeatedly. This way he can spend time with each girl, then goes back an hour and spends it with the next one. He’s practically ageless at bare minimum, so extra hours within a day would be nothing to him. He can even clean himself up in between so they don’t have to worry about the order he visits them. This wouldn’t be clones either as each one is just him from a different point in the future. Negima! even had a whole debacle go on where people who didn’t know about magic were confused why there were multiple versions of the same guy at the same place. This could lead to very funny moments where someone was trying to get future details from him or he fails at stopping a conversation from happening only for future versions to know it will fail because they already lived through it. d. He has an inner world, rank up his parallel thoughts so he can split his mind into dozens of bodies in the dream world/inner world and then spend time with each.
