So why did you flip his entire personality in a matter of days? He wanted to stay away from Soma and said it multiple times... soma comes up to him and asked him to be his friend so he said yes.... makes no sense. He wanted a peaceful life then randomly decides he doesnt? There wasnt any character development for this to even happen so idk... I

the idea is awesome but the execution is really not worthy of the idea. Using KnB zone in conjunction with cooking abilities is awesome and honestly though possible not many would think of this idea but the problem is the MC. For this idea to really take off the MC must be a reincarnated anime fan with a going by the story someone with reduced version of shikamaru's(Naruto) personality and intelligence, then maybe regains his previous life memories including knowledge of shokugeki no soma when the main arch starts and zone will come in an extreme situation. this is just my opinion I'm not saying it should be exactly what I've said but at least I hope it will give you an idea or concept on how to go about giving the storyline and MC's character more flesh and wiggle room. I chose shikamaru's personality and intelligence because if done right will make the MC's character and background more mysterious. So when u decide what sort of character you want for the MC you can just choose and edit character traits from any anime character.
