Maybe the Creator wouldn’t allow the bond to form, with the mate He provided, until Gar accepted that he has no true control over what happens. It seems like, as soon as he accepted that and decided to just get busy fulfilling the purpose the Creator gave him, then he could feel the bond and comfort, rather than panic.

The Creator is so good. I love how he gave Gar that reassurance to be able to find Rika. Now I pray the Creator will do another miracle for Reth, Elia, Gahrye, and Kalle. Keep them alive please.

Even though the bond hadn't cemented the creator still showed him hope that his mate is alive. Gar needed that to keep his sanity. I hope all of them can find the strength to do what needs to be done and come out of this safe.
