Oh Aaryn, I know this pain you are feeling, but now you know your father's heart ❤. In truth, you are your father's son, because you have been living this letter even before reading it. Your father would be so proud of you. Maybe you should show Reth, because it seems like he could learn something from your father as well. I pray you get to see a vision of your father at the flames and smoke, but just knowing how much he loved you and your mother will help.

This hit home. I feel so sad for him. But the letter was such a gift. It made his dad his dad to him again, not a traitor. It was a very loving gift of his wisdom to his son for the day of his wedding. Just beautiful. I really want redemption for his dad now!🤧😭 Aaryn and his mom need it.

Aaryn really needs to feel and make space for this grief. And with any luck Reth will hear him, or perhaps he will seek out Reth for the fatherly support he needs and someone else might be cjamged by these profiind words. *coighrethcough*

This book has made me cry several times. Some if them have been happy tears but right now my heart is broken after reading this chapter. Aaryn should have had guys father growing up but now ,years later, he's just now grieving his father's death 💔
